Class of 2025 Graduation Information
Olentangy Schools is pleased to host all four high school commencement ceremonies at the Jerome Schottenstein Center (555 Borror Dr, Columbus, OH 43210) on May 18, 2025 at the following times:
- Olentangy Orange High School: 9:00 am
- Olentangy Berlin High School: 12:00 pm
- Olentangy High School: 3:00 pm
- Olentangy Liberty High School: 6:00 pm
All families should read the Family Guide to Graduation at the Schottenstein Center for very important information regarding facility entrance, security, and bag policy at the event.
ATTENDANCE
Tickets are not required for the graduation ceremonies. Students are not limited to the number of individuals for guest attendance.
Graduation ceremonies will last between 90 minutes to two hours in length.
GRADUATE ATTIRE
Graduates should arrive in graduation caps and gowns, with the tassel on the right side and gowns zipped closed. No decorations may be placed on the cap or gown. Only Olentangy Schools issued honor cords and stoles may be worn.
GENERAL PARKING
Each graduate will receive two parking passes. Event day parking will be $10 (cashless) per additional vehicle. Please review the maps on this page for your schools’ assigned parking lot and recommended campus entry.
To alleviate traffic congestion around the Schottenstein Center, we recommend Orange High School (9 am) and Olentangy High School (3 pm) both use the US-315 Lane Avenue exit for arrival and departure. We recommend Berlin High School (12 pm) and Liberty High School (6 pm) both use the US-315 Ackerman Road exit for arrival and departure.

Graduates and guests should allow additional travel and arrival time to the facility due to the high volume of vehicle and pedestrian traffic, as well as required security screening.
DISABILITY PARKING AND SEATING
Disability parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Scarlet Lots adjacent to the Schottenstein Center. Parking is $10 (cashless) to park in the disability lot.
Accessible/disabled seating is available on the entry level (100) and terrace levels (300) arena. Disability seating is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please limit one companion per guest in need so others may be accommodated.
Complimentary wheelchair escorts are available at any entry point. Ask any uniformed staff and they will call for an escort.
SHUTTLES
Three shuttle buses will be available to transport guests between the Buckeye Lots and the Schottenstein Center between 10 am and 9 pm. See the map for shuttle drop-off and pick-up locations.
ARRIVAL
Graduates should report to the processional line up one hour prior to their commencement time for attendance and graduation preparation.
- Olentangy Orange High School Seniors should report at 8:00 am
- Olentangy Berlin High School Seniors should report at 11:00 am
- Olentangy High School Seniors should report at 2:00 pm
- Olentangy Liberty High School Seniors should report at 5:00 pm
Graduates only should enter through the Northwest door, where they will be greeted and directed to the processional lineup.
Guests entering should reference the Family Guide to Graduation at the Schottenstein Center for prohibited items. Guests will be seated in the lower bowl for the ceremony. Graduates will be seated in chairs on the floor. Graduates will receive information prior to graduation from their school regarding their seat placement so guests can plan accordingly.
NO BAG POLICY
Bags or purses of any size are NOT permitted. Wallets/wristlets no larger than 5”x8”x1” are permitted. A dedicated screening lane is available for guests with medical, dietary or childcare needs – one bag permitted. We suggest leaving most items at home.
Prohibited and Permitted Items/ Security Screening
PHOTOGRAPHY and VIDEOGRAPHY
Photos and videos are welcome throughout the ceremony. A professional photo will be taken of each graduate the day of the event and be available for purchase from HR Imaging.
Commencement ceremonies will be live streamed this year. Livestream link coming soon.
HEARING IMPAIRED
ASL Interpreting may be viewed from all seats during the ceremony via video boards.
DISMISSAL
Graduates will recess immediately following graduation outside to the East End Plaza. Prior to the graduation ceremonies, plan a graduate and family/friend reunification location on the building’s exterior.
DIPLOMAS
Diplomas will be distributed the day after graduation ceremonies take place. Graduates may pick up their diploma from their high school on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. inside the building’s main entrance. Please provide a photo/student ID for verification. Any remaining diplomas will be mailed to the address on record.
