Class of 2024 Graduation Information
Olentangy Schools is pleased to host all four high school commencement ceremonies at the Jerome Schottenstein Center (555 Borror Dr, Columbus, OH 43210) on May 19, 2024 at the following times:
- Olentangy Liberty High School: 9:00 am
- Olentangy Orange High School: 12:00 pm
- Olentangy Berlin High School: 3:00 pm
- Olentangy High School: 6:00 pm
All families should read the Family Guide to Graduation at the Schottenstein Center for very important information regarding facility entrance, security, and bag policy at the event.
Tickets are not required for the graduation ceremonies. Students are not limited to the number of individuals for guest attendance.
Graduation ceremonies will last between 90 minutes to two hours in length.
Graduates should arrive in graduation caps and gowns, with the tassel on the right side and gowns zipped closed. No decorations may be placed on the cap or gown. Only Olentangy Schools issued honor cords and stoles may be worn.
Each graduate will receive two parking passes. Event day parking will be $10 (cashless) per additional vehicle. Please review the maps on this page for your schools’ assigned parking lot and recommended campus entry.
To alleviate traffic congestion around the Schottenstein Center, we recommend Liberty High School (9 am) and Berlin High School (3 pm) both use the US-315 Lane Avenue exit for arrival and departure. We recommend Orange High School (12 pm) and Olentangy High School (6 pm) both use the US-315 Ackerman Road exit for arrival and departure.
Graduates and guests should allow additional travel and arrival time to the facility due to the high volume of vehicle and pedestrian traffic, as well as required security screening.
DISABILITY PARKING AND SEATING
Disability parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Scarlet Lots adjacent to the Schottenstein Center. Parking is $10 (cashless) to park in the disability lot.
Accessible/disabled seating is available on the entry level (100) and terrace levels (300) arena. Disability seating is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please limit one companion per guest in need so others may be accommodated.
Complimentary wheelchair escorts are available at any entry point. Ask any uniformed staff and they will call for an escort.
Three shuttle buses will be available to transport guests between the Buckeye Lots and the Schottenstein Center between 10 am and 9 pm. See the map for shuttle drop-off and pick-up locations.
