The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used by two and four-year colleges and universities throughout the U.S. to determine eligibility for Federal, State and campus-based financial aid, which includes grants, scholarships, work study programs, and all Federal student and parent loan programs. Students at all income levels are strongly encouraged to file the FAFSA every year by their college or university’s published deadline to maximize their overall financial aid package for the coming year. For example, at Ohio State, the priority deadline is February 1, 2019 to apply for financial aid for the 2019-2020 school year. The FAFSA can be submitted starting October 1, 2018 for the 2019-2020 school year.
OSU Marion is running a number of on-campus free FAFSA completion workshops at the Marion campus as a service to the community. The workshops are free, and open to any student and their parent/guardian, regardless of whether or not they attend or will attend OSU. Dates and complete details are available here. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED due to limited space. Additional workshops in the area are listed on or FAFSA page, and also at OASFAA’s site at https://fafsahelpoh.org
Every year the members of the Senior Class Cabinet create a Senior Slideshow to honor all the memories made together along the way. The goal is to include every member of the senior class in the video; in order to do this, we need your help! We are asking each senior to send in three pictures of him/herself: one picture as a baby, one picture from elementary or middle school, and one picture from high school. For more information click HERE. Pictures are due Feb. 8.
