Seniors: Class of 2018
The deadline to submit photos for the senior slideshow that is played at the end-of-the-year senior events and graduation is approaching on Feb. 9, 2018. We are asking each senior to send in three pictures of him/herself: one picture as a baby, one picture from elementary or middle school and one picture from high school. Send all three photos in one email to email@example.com. Please access this form to find out more details.
New State Honors Diplomas for Seniors
The state of Ohio has developed additional types of Honors Diplomas. Please see the attached link that clearly states the criteria for these additional diplomas. If there are any questions, please contact your guidance counselor.
Senior Ads for Yearbook
Celebrate your child's graduation by purchasing a senior ad in the 2018 yearbook. You can submit a baby photo, senior photo and a heartfelt message that commemorates your senior's time in school. The senior ad order form and size sheet are available on the school's website, will be passed out during the senior meetings and right HERE). All senior ads will be purchased and submitted online! You will go to www.smart-pay.com to buy them and submit the materials. The form describes the process. The deadline for submission is Friday, March 2, 2018. Seniors - Did you not get your free yearbook portrait taken during the summer or September dates when HR Imaging was at the school? Well, your last opportunity to have your senior portrait in the yearbook is approaching quickly. Root Studios will be here on Friday, Jan. 5 to take any remaining senior portraits during lunches that day. That is your absolute last chance to have your portrait featured in the yearbook! The yearbook portrait requires a different attire and backdrop from your regular school picture. This is not the same picture taken during the schedule pick-up days. You will not be pictured if you do not sit for this photo. The required dress is: a collared dress shirt for boys and girls should wear dress clothes with sleeves at least elbow length and avoid any low necklines. If you have questions, see Mrs. Phillips in room 2222.

SENIORS - TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS
Seniors must request a transcript at least 10 school days prior to an application deadline date. Please be sure to match the Common Application to your Naviance account before we can send the transcript. This means your Common Application must be completed through the FERPA agreement and colleges listed on the Common Application before you request your transcript. When students request a transcript, we will send the transcript, our secondary school report and the Orange High School profile.
FAFSA for Senior Parents
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) becomes available October 1, 2017 (fafsa.ed.gov). Parents can complete the FAFSA using your 2016 tax returns and the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. Be sure to check with the institution your child plans to apply to, for their FAFSA deadline.
