The Olentangy STEM Academy is now accepting applications from current eighth grade students for the 2019-20 school year. The application is available at this link.

Olentangy’s STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) academy students focus on education which will develop 21st century thinking.  These focus areas include critical critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.  These thinking capacities are cultivated through learning activities that are hands-on, relevant to local and global issues, and presented in an integrated transdisciplinary approach.  Students learn how to be innovative and think like an engineer, solve real-world problems, conduct relevant research and work with professionals in a variety of STEM fields. Learn more here.

Deadline for application is SUNDAY FEBRUARY 3rd!

Sunday, February 3rd - Deadline to apply to the Olentangy STEM Academy. Note that students are selected from applications by lottery, so an application does not guarantee you a spot.

Monday, February 4th - Course requests must be complete. Counselors from both High Schools will be here to schedule with students.

Note that even if you applied to STEM Academy you must submit a traditional HS course request schedule. If you end up selected in the STEM Academy lottery, your schedule will be adjusted later.
