Free Course Offered for Parents, Caregivers of Children with Mental Health Conditions

The local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is offering a free course for parents and caregivers of children and adolescents with mental health concerns.

NAMI is a national mental health organization whose goal is to provide people living with mental illness and their families with tools and resources to better their lives. Their mission is to educate, advocate, listen, and lead in order to fight stigma and promote understanding of mental health.

This course is designed to give caregivers the knowledge and skills to support their kids as well as take care of themselves. The course will be held over six sessions to take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday beginning January 24, 2019 and ending February 28, 2019. The course meetings will be held at 814 Bowtown Road in Delaware.
