School Board Selects President, Vice President for 2019

The Olentangy Local School District Board of Education has selected its leadership for 2019. Kevin O'Brien is the new board president. Mindy Patrick will serve as vice president.

The change in leadership took place during the Board's Organizational Meeting - the first meeting of the new year -  held Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019.

Mr. O’Brien was first appointed to the Board in 2010 and elected in 2011. O’Brien is vice president and chief financial officer at Nationwide Retirement Plans. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management with honors at Westfield State College in 1990. Mr. O’Brien has four daughters and lives in Lewis Center.

Mrs. Patrick was elected to the Board in 2015. She is the Delaware County Foundation's director of finance. She earned her degree from Oakland University. Mrs. Patrick and her husband, Michael, have two children and reside in Powell.
