College Credit Plus
Ohio’s new College Credit Plus can help you earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from colleges and/or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a College Credit Plus course from a public college or university is free, which means no cost for tuition, books, or fees. If you choose to attend a private college or university, you may have limited costs. If you are interested in participating, you must complete the steps below.
Step 1
Watch CCP Introduction video series. You must watch all 8 segments. The total viewing time is roughly 12 minutes. Click HERE to view the video.
Step 2
Students must submit the CCP Intent to Participate form by April 1, 2025 if they plan to enroll in Summer (2025), Fall (2025), or Spring (2026) semesters of the upcoming academic year. If a student intends to participate only in the Spring semester (2026), the Intent form is due by November 1, 2025 of the preceding year.
* Please note that male students who are at least 18 years old and are Ohio residents must register with the Selective Service System and provide their Selective Service number to their college within 30 days of their 18th birthday to participate in CCP. If a student does not register or provide their number, they will not be considered a CCP participant for that term and will be responsible for all associated costs.
