Olentangy Schools

Olentangy Schools has earned a top overall five-star rating for the third consecutive year on the newly released 2024–25 Ohio School Report Cards.

“Top ratings don’t happen by accident – but through the strategic, intentional alignment of our staff’s work and commitment to our mission to facilitate maximum learning for every student,” stated Superintendent Todd R. Meyer. “Olentangy is the only district of more than 10,000 students among Ohio’s 47 five-star districts, and we’re growing on average by 400–500 students each year — the size of many of those districts. Achieving top rankings amid this growth is remarkable.”

The Ohio School Report Cards share academic and opportunity-to-learn data from schools and districts across the state. Olentangy earned five-star ratings for overall academic achievement, closing educational gaps, and graduation rates — significantly exceeding state standards. The district also earned four-star ratings in early literacy and progress, showing strong evidence of student growth beyond expectations.

“We are proud the state report card reflects Olentangy’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence,” said Dr. Michelle Blackley, Chief Academic Officer. “This recognition reflects the profound efforts of our entire learning community—dedicated staff and engaged families—who work together to personalize learning, support growth, and help every student flourish.”
