Olentangy Schools has been awarded a Top Workplace 2024 honor by The Columbus C.E.O. Magazine Top Workplaces. This is the District’s fifth time receiving the award (other years include 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022). Olentangy Schools is one of only 85 organizations included on this year’s list.
“We are very proud to be named a Columbus Top Workplace again because it is awarded solely based on our employee’s gratification working in Olentangy,” shared Superintendent Todd Meyer. “In order to facilitate maximum learning for every student, Olentangy must be a very special place to work in order to attract and retain the top teachers, administrators, and staff that fulfill our mission with over 24,000 students across the district.”
Employee feedback was gathered through an anonymous third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology company Energage, LLC. The survey measured 24 cultural drivers that are critical to the success of an organization, including pay and benefits, direction, leadership, meaningfulness and appreciation.
"Companies need to authentically represent their brand to job-seekers," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "The employee experience needs to be on the mission-critical list. Leaders who embrace a people-first culture will benefit greatly. By giving employees a voice and showcasing your authentic culture through employer branding, organizations can attract those job seekers who complement their culture. Culture drives performance."
Olentangy Schools employs over 3,000 staff members in full-time, part-time and substitute capacities. Employment opportunities can be found on the Olentangy Schools job board.
