Olentangy Schools


Brad Rellinger was appointed to the Olentangy Schools Board of Education March 26, 2026, to fill Kevin O’Brien’s unexpired term. Mr. Rellinger holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, and a Master of Education in Classroom Technology; both from Bowling Green State University. He has professional experience as a Technology Specialist and Supervisor in education, as well as Director of Operations and Technology for Northern Buckeye Education Council. Mr. Rellinger is currently the Chief Technology Officer for the Northern Buckeye Education Council, a not-for-profit council of governments owned and operated by 35 public K-12 school districts, three Educational Service Centers, and two Career Centers, based in Northwest Ohio. 

On his appointment, Mr. Rellinger shared, “I’m so grateful and humbled to be appointed to the Olentangy Local School District Board of Education. This community has given so much to my family, and I’m excited for the opportunity to contribute to the strong foundation this district has established. It is a privilege and a responsibility I don’t take lightly. I look forward to listening, learning, and working with our community to ensure Olentangy remains the best place for our kids to learn and grow.” 

Mr. Rellinger resides in Lewis Center with his wife and two children. He serves on Olentangy Schools’ Continuous Improvement Committee and has served as Glen Oak Elementary PTO Treasurer for a four-year stint. Additionally, he holds the role of treasurer for the Glen Oak Homeowners Association.  

Brad Rellinger’s term on the Olentangy Schools Board of Education will expire at the end of 2027.
