The Olentangy community is invited to provide input on the 2027-28 District Calendar Draft A and Draft B through March 8. The calendar is anchored in the district’s philosophy for creating school calendars based on need, feedback from staff and community, and in partnership with the district’s associations. 

Each draft calendar has the first day of school on the third Thursday in August, spring break the last week of March, and the last day of school before Memorial Day. School breaks include the standard days off for Thanksgiving and a two-week winter break. Watch this video to review the calendar options for fall break, the second quarter teacher workday, and the last day of instruction.

We invite the community’s feedback using the 2027-28 District Calendar survey. A final draft calendar will be presented for board consideration at the March 10, 2026 meeting.
