Alumni Association
Graduates of all Olentangy high schools are members of the Olentangy Schools Alumni Association. Welcome to our online gathering place for those who graduated from a township school (prior to 1953), the Olentangy K-12 school (now Shanahan Middle School), or one of our current four high schools – Olentangy, Liberty, Orange, or Berlin.
The Olentangy Alumni Association is building a database of graduates as a resource of information for reunion chairs and to distribute alumni news. We invite you to stay connected to former classmates, Olentangy Schools, and the Olentangy community regardless of where you are by sharing your contact information.

NEW: Legends of olentangy
Each year, the Olentangy Alumni Association and the Olentangy school district will celebrate outstanding alumni or community members for accomplishments following their high school graduation. Three awards are presented at the Legends of Olentangy event, which will be presented during a short program prior to a high school homecoming football game, rotating among our four high schools each year. The 2025 event will be in the Olentangy High School auditorium prior to the homecoming football game festivities on Friday, September 19, 2025.
The selection committee for these awards consists of administrators, members of the Olentangy Schools Board of Education, and the Olentangy Education Foundation Board of Directors.
About the Legends of Olentangy Awards
Distinguished Alumni Award
- This award recognizes the professional achievement, leadership or outstanding personal accomplishment of an alum.
- Criteria: Nominees must have graduated more than 15 years prior.
Young Alumni Achievement Award
- This award recognizes young alums for outstanding post-secondary academic achievement, professional achievement, or leadership.
- Criteria: Nominees must have graduated no more than 15 years prior.
Community Service Award
- This award recognizes any alum or individual that has made a significant impact through volunteer service or philanthropic works.
- Criteria: Nominees do not need to be an alum of Olentangy Schools, but must be at least 18 years of age.
*Please note these awards celebrate different accomplishments than the awards of the high school athletic hall of fames.

High School Alumni Gatherings
Olentangy Schools graduates are invited to attend an alumni gathering at their alma mater before an upcoming Friday night football game*.
2025 information to come.
*Please note, alumni are invited to join the game after the gathering but will need to purchase football game tickets online through the high school athletic box office in advance.
alumni liaisons
Alumnus interested in serving as an alumni liaison to assist their high school in connecting with the alumni base should complete the alumni liaison application.
The alumni liaison will:
- Promote alumni gatherings to a network of high school alums
- Serve as the alumni representative at the alumni gathering
- Work with the Olentangy Schools communications department to grow an alumni database
- Assist with the planning and promotion of future alumni opportunities
