COVID-19 DATA DASHBOARD
Olentangy Schools is committed to providing accurate and transparent information regarding COVID-19 related to the school environment, while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff. The data below is provided to the district by the Delaware Public Health District (DPHD), and represents the most accurate count of active COVID-19 cases among district staff and students as confirmed by county and state health authorities.
Olentangy Schools will report active, suspect and probable COVID-19 cases within the Olentangy community that are current on the date this dashboard is updated. The district will also notify parents and staff of all COVID-19 cases in school and classroom-level communication. Definitions for probable, suspect and confirmed cases are listed within the Key COVID-19 Terms section below.
In order to provide the most accurate and up-to-date COVID-19 data on the day it is available, the COVID-19 Dashboard will be updated every Monday and Friday beginning the week of November 30, 2020. The Ohio Department of Health publishes case numbers to its dashboard every Thursday, with information reported as of the previous Sunday. Olentangy Schools is not responsible for the timing of when the Delaware Public Health District’s data is reported and posted on the Ohio Department of Health’s dashboard.

What is CATS?
The COVID-19 Analytics and Targeted Surveillance System for Schools is a collaborative project between The Ohio State University College of Public Health, Franklin County Public Health, Columbus Public Health, and various school districts designed to:
● Inform school and district leaders about emerging trends in COVID-19 cases in their districts, surrounding districts and county, and
● Inform students and parents about rationale for decisions made regarding changes to learning modalities during the school year (e.g., online, inperson, or hybrid).
The CATS Dashboard will be updated every Friday.
