  • Parent Workshop Series

Olentangy Local Schools' Equity and Inclusion Department launched a Parent Workshop Series in 2018 designed to help families support their children in raising awareness across a variety of topics relating to diversity, equity and inclusion. The first workshop, held September 20, 2018, featured Dr. Hasan Kwame Jeffries, a well-respected professor at The Ohio State University and a OLSD ONE COMMUNITY presenter. Dr. Jeffries shared his knowledge and expertise on how to best navigate what can be daunting conversations around race and racism with your children.

Additional workshop dates and topics are listed below. Each workshop is stand-alone, so come to one or come to all. All workshops are held from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Olentangy Administrative Office, 7840 Graphics Way, Lewis Center. The workshops are free of charge.
