Digital Citizenship

  • Students recognize the rights, responsibilities and opportunities of living, learning and working in a digital world, and should act and model in ways that are safe, legal and ethical.

    Students should be able to: 
      
    •    Demonstrate what it means to be responsible and respectful in an online setting (permanence of digital activity)
    •    Explore how it feels to be cyberbullied, how cyberbullying is similar to or different than in-person bullying, and 
            learn strategies for handling cyberbullying when it arises
    •    Understand the rights and limitations of using and sharing online property
    •    Understand and demonstrate the importance of citing all sources when they do research by creating a 
            bibliographical citations for sources
