    The OASIS Vision

To provide an innovative and personalized delivery model by which to support students’ individualized academic and behavioral development, allowing our students to perform at a level that surpasses or is equal to their anticipated level of achievement based on measured ability. We will promote high expectations for students in all areas: academic, artistic, physical, health, citizenship and service. In a fiscally responsible manner, we will commit the resources necessary to establish and maintain:
    • A respectful, caring and safe environment
    • Research-based, student-focused instruction
    • Information-driven decision making
    • Collaboration focused on improving student learning
    • An active partnership with parents and community

If you would like to learn more about OASIS, please contact your student's guidance counselor. If OASIS is determined to be a good academic setting for your student, the counselor will make a recommendation for placement to OASIS on your behalf. OASIS Candidate Referral Form

    Service Learning

Heritage Elementary School (HES) and OASIS have a wonderful cooperative relationship. Through the work of HES school counselors, and OASIS principal Jennifer Aylward, students at OASIS volunteer to work in teacher classrooms at HES. OASIS students work one hour per week at HES and perform tasks the teachers have selected. OASIS students are asked to commit to be volunteers for at least one semester. This program has been in operation since 2010, a fact that demonstrates its success for both OASIS and HES.
