The community feedback strongly suggested moving as few students as possible even if that meant allowing building utilization rates to vary.

The schedule change should improve the traffic situation because the two schools neighboring HES, Olentangy High School and Olentangy Shanahan Middle School, operate from 7:20 a.m until 2:35 p.m. and 7:40 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. respectively.
