2012-2013 Kindergarten Registration

Step 1: Obtain a PIN from the New Student Welcome Center

  • Call the NSWC at (740) 657-4030 or (740) 657-4033 between 8:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m.
  • Students with last names A - M can call starting on Monday, February 13. Those with last names N - Z can call starting Thursday, February 16.

Step 2: Complete online registration forms

Use the PIN you received from the New Student Welcome Center to access the online registration forms. A link to the forms will be available on this page on February 13.

Step 3: Attend registration appointment

At this appointment, your child will be asked to answer questions and complete a series of tasks to provide the district with a general idea of his or her strengths and areas for improvement.

2011-2012 Registration

Registration for all grade levels for the 2011-12 school year is now under way. Parents can call 740-657-4030 or 740-657-4033 to get their PINs. Once you have a PIN, follow this link to access the online registration system.

On your appointment day, be sure to arrive with the following:

  • Proof of Residency in one of these forms:
    • mortgage statement
    • settlement statement
    • lease
    • deed
    • property tax bill
    • property tax statement
    Persons living with another homeowner/renter are asked to call the NSWC for details on proving residency
  • Custody papers (if applicable)
    1. Divorce or dissolution document
      (Ohio law requires a copy of the entire document)
    2. Guardianship cases - call NSWC for details
  • Parent/Guardian driver's license or state identification
  • Original or certified copy of birth certificate or passport*
  • Immunization records (or exemption)*
  • Current IEP or MFE (if applicable)

About the New Student Welcome Center

The New Student Welcome Center (NSWC) is located near the district’s Administrative Office area in the Shanahan facility and serves as the central location for the registration and verification of residency for all new students.

NSWC is designed to give new families a streamlined enrollment process.  Previously, parents had to complete numerous forms per child. Now, parents can call the NSWC and receive a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that will allow them to complete most of the registration process for all of their children online. After completing the online requirements, parents will need to make an appointment to come to the NSWC to finalize their child's registration.

The NSWC is open year around. We encourage you to register your children as soon as you move into the Olentangy area.
