ODE Testing Resources for Parents
The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) provides several resources for parents and students related to standardized tests that students are required to take at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Students in grades three through eight may participate in various Ohio Achievement Tests in English, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. Resources related to these tests can be found through the ODE Resources for Ohio’s Achievement Tests Web site and include:
- Family Report Interpretive Guide;
- Ohio Achievement Tests Performance Level Descriptors; and,
- Constructed Response Items on Ohio Achievement Tests and Available Resources.
Resources are also available for high school families related to the Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT). Sophomores are required to take OGT as part of a graduation requirement. The ODE Resources for OGT Web site includes:
