School (OLHS) are once again in elite company. For the third year in a
row, both schools are among the top 500 public high schools in America ranked by
Newsweek in their May 18, 2008 magazine.

OLMS Teacher Wins Education Award
Veronica Asbury, an English teacher at Olentangy Liberty Middle School
(OLMS) was named Teacher of the Month by the Ohio Education Association (OEA).
One of Mrs. Asbury students nominated her for the award which is co-sponsored by
Clear Channel Radio and Wendy’s.

nationally to score a 36 on the December 2007 ACT test.

Olentangy Shanahan Middle School won two awards at this year’s
Ohio Middle School Association Annual State Conference. Team 601 won the
Ohio Team of the Year Award and Jennifer Poulton, teacher and team leader, won
the Ohio Regional Teacher of the Year Award.
