Welcome to Olentangy Special Needs Preschool Program

The Olentangy School District offers a program that services children with disabilities and provides an educational opportunity for typically developing children to serve as peer role models. Our 30 special needs preschool sections are located at Arrowhead Elementary, Glen Oak Elementary, Heritage Elementary, Johnnycake Corners Elementary, Tyler Run Elementary and Wyandot Run Elementary for the 2011-2012 school year. The classes are in session T-F in the am (9:15 to 11:55) or pm (1:15 to 3:55). These times may vary slightly for the 2011-2012 school year. Each class has an intervention specialist and an assistant. There are either 8 children with special needs ages 3-5 and 4 peer role models or 6 children with special needs ages 3-5 and 6 peer role models in a class.

Parents of peers must provide transportation to and from school. Tuition is $150.00 per month.
