Welcome to Olentangy Special Needs Preschool Program

The Olentangy School District offers a program that services children with disabilities and provides an educational opportunity for typically developing children to serve as peer role models. Our 33 special needs preschool sections are located at Arrowhead Elementary, Cheshire Elementary, Glen Oak Elementary, Heritage Elementary, Johnnycake Corners Elementary, Tyler Run Elementary and Wyandot Run Elementary for the 2012-2013 school year. The classes are in session T-F in the morning (9:15 to 11:55) or afternoon (1:15 to 3:55). Each class has an intervention specialist and an assistant. There are either 8 children with special needs ages 3-5 and 4 peer role models or 6 children with special needs ages 3-5 and 6 peer role models in a class.
