All Sports Hall of Fame

PURPOSE

The purpose of the All Sports Hall of Fame is to enshrine deserving Olentangy Athletic Alumni, Coaches, Administrators, Boosters and Community members into a position of lasting honor for extraordinary contributions.

CRITERIA

Nominees must have graduated from Olentangy High School and have been out of high school for at least 5 years. Any individual who has been inducted into an Ohio Sports Hall of Fame will be granted automatic induction.

CONSIDERATIONS

• Number of sports in which the athlete participated
• Number of varsity letters earned
• Number of special awards
• Overall contribution to the athletic program
• Overall contribution to the Olentangy Community

HALL OF FAME COMMITTEE

The Hall of Fame Committee members are the Olentangy High School Principal, the Athletic Director and selected coaches from Olentangy Athletic Council members.

SELECTION

The selection of new inductees will occur in October each year.

ENSHRINEMENT

The enshrinement of new inductees is held in December at the Home Basketball Game

AWARDS DISPLAY

The All Sports Hall of Fame awards are on display in the Olentangy School Commons area.

NOMINATIONS TO THE ALL SPORTS HALL OF FAME

Nominations will come from the Hall of Fame Committee, employees of Olentangy Local Schools, or from community members. The call for nominations will occur by May 1st each year. Nominations must be in writing and must received by September 1st. Send nominations to:
