Olentangy Academy:
Supporting Individualized Success

Olentangy Local Schools is proud to offer OASIS, a unique, student-centered educational program for families who are looking for a different option than the traditional school setting.

The OASIS Vision

To provide an innovative and personalized delivery model by which to support students' individualized academic and behavioral development, allowing our students to perform at a level that surpasses or is equal to their anticipated level of achievement based on measured ability.

We will promote high expectations for students in all areas: academic, artistic, physical, health, citizenship and service. In a fiscally responsible manner, we will commit the resources necessary to establish and maintain:

• A respectful, caring and safe environment
• Research-based, student-focused instruction
• Information-driven decision making
• Collaboration focused on improving student learning
• An active partnership with parents and community

Service Learning

OASIS encourages its students to participate in a minimum of one hour of service learning each week. Service-learning partnerships are available with Olentangy Shanahan Middle School, the district’s administrative departments and external community agencies. On a bi-weekly basis, the OASIS team works collectively on community-based initiatives.
