Two Olentangy Students Are Candidates For U.S. Presidential Scholar

Two Olentangy seniors have been named candidates in The United States Presidential Scholars Program. Matthew P. attends Olentangy Liberty High School, and Corey S. is an Olentangy High School student. The United States Presidential Scholar Program was established in 1964, by Executive order of the President, to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors.  Each year up to 141 students are named U.S. Presidential Scholars, one of our nation’s highest honors for high school students. In honoring the U.S. Presidential Scholars, the President of the United States symbolically honors all graduating high school seniors of high potential.
