Olentangy Student to Participate in American Boychoir

Eleven-year old Jeremy Glenn Hardjono has been recruited by the American Boychoir.  As a member of the choir, he will attend the American Boychoir’s boarding school this fall in Princeton, New Jersey while being contracted by the choir to be a part of its highly selective members.   Lori Walls, Jeremy’s former teacher at Liberty Tree Elementary School (LTES), notes that Jeremy had been identified as being gifted in music. Walls was instrumental in obtaining Jeremy’s acceptance into the choir by encouraging him to attend the Columbus Children’s Choir Honors Festival to help enrich and nurture his musical abilities.  Jeremy participated in the LTES children’s chorus, was a member of the 5th grade LTES band and played the role of Chip in the OOHS performance of Beauty and the Beast.
