  • Hyatts MS volunteers will help serve during the Delaware County Habitat for Humanity’s Christmas party.
  • Hyatts MS’ penny war collection (a group-wide, competitive fundraising technique) benefitting Patches of Light concludes today. Patches of Light™ is a nonprofit organization created to assist families with critically ill children facing extensive medical treatment and financial hardship.xmasball-small
  • Hyatts MS will participate in Caroling for a Cause on behalf of Kinder Key™ Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Kinder Key™ is an auxiliary of The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Kinder Key Caroling has been an annual tradition throughout the central Ohio region since 1954.
  • Liberty HS’ Annual Winter Band Concert, 7-8 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.

  • Liberty Tree ES’ 5th grade string/band holiday concert, 7 p.m.
  • Hyatts MS’ holiday choir concert in the commons, 7 p.m.

  • Glen Oak ES   “So-Parents-Can-Go-Finish Shopping” Night, from 6 – 9 p.m. Staffed by building teachers and administrators who watch over drop-in students as they play games, dance and participate in various craft activities. (Proceeds go toward summer outings for students such as trips to the museum, Columbus Clippers’ baseball games.
  • Freedom Trail ES’ two toy drives conclude: (1) Nationwide children’s Hospital, FTES in collaboration with the Girl Scouts,  pending a scheduled delivery date to the hospital; and, (2) a staff-driven Toys for Tots™ campaign also concludes.
  • Alum Creek ES’ Food Drive for People In Need, Inc. of Delaware County concludes today.
  • Cheshire ES’ Food Drive for Cheshire families, via the Giving Tree, concludes today.

  • Johnny Cake ES’ ongoing seasonal campaign of creating hand-crafted rubber band bracelets to give patients of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital concludes.
  • Johnny Cakes ES staff will host a holiday breakfast for bus drivers of the nearby Olentangy bus compound from 9 a.m. to noon.
