Olentangy was well represented at a recent concert entitled “Playing From the Heart” to benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital Heart Center. This event has been presented for over twenty years by the Benefit Concert Association as a fund-raisng activity for the hospital. An art competition was also part of the event this year, and Olentangy’s art teachers Beth Lucek, Sarah Zwick, Robin Schorr, Teresa Shawberry, Briana Kindberg and their students submitted pieces that would hopefully create joy and inspire sick children. Winners of the art competition were judged by the members of the Benefit Concert Association and David Hinds, theatre director at Olentangy High School. The art winners were:
- Ivy D., Olentangy Liberty High School
- Brigid F., Olentangy High School
- Lauren W., Olentangy High School
