Olentangy’s Summer School Programs Under Way

Students enrolled in the summer programs at Olentangy have been busy with the business of learning but have found innovative ways to go about this task.  In Trisha Baker’s speech class, students presented their speeches last week to an unusual audience – a group of pre-schoolers.  Ms. Baker said this activity helped the students prepare a clear and concise presentation and to critique their deliveries by using audience analysis.   Summer school classes offered in the district included speech, personal finance and post secondary planning, physical education and lifetime fitness.  Classes run through July 28, but virtual classrooms via Apex Learning offer online learning with academic support all summer in more than 50 classes.
