Ohio Test of English Language Acquisition (OTELA)

The Ohio Test of English Language Acquisition (OTELA) is a state test assessing a student’s progress toward achieving Full English Proficiency (FEP). This test is administered by the district each spring to students receiving English Language Learning (ELL) services. The results of the OTELA Test are used to determine the student’s needs for English Language Learning (ELL) services the following school year.
