Ohio’s New Math Standards

What are Ohio’s new math standards?

Ohio school districts are in the process of implementing new standards as directed by the Ohio Department of Education. The new standards are a set of internationally benchmarked teaching measures designed to help students better prepare for college, career and competition in the global economy. Olentangy Local Schools will transition to the Common Core standards over the next two years. The new curriculum will require the restructuring of the district’s existing course offerings and the acceleration options available to students.
